One person was injured during a two-alarm fire at a home in Bridgeport Thursday just a few blocks where another home caught fire last night.
Officials say the fire broke out in the 800 block of Shelton Street around 4 a.m.
At least one person at the home suffered significant burns and smoke inhalation and was transported to the hospital. At least nine other residents
were displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
Mutual aid was provided by Stratford and Fairfield fire departments in assisting with fire station coverage.
