A 23-year-old man was wounded during a drive-by shooting outside of a birthday party in Bridgeport's west side on Friday night, according to city detectives.
Police responded to a 911 call of shots fired at Wood Avenue and Grove Street just after 10 p.m. Officers found four parked vehicles that had been struck by gunfire.

Police say the man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. He is expected to recover.
The Detective Bureau's Non-Fatal Shooting Task Force is investigating the shooting.
