Bridgeport police say one man is in the hospital and another is on the run following a shooting Friday morning.
Police say it all started on Capitol Avenue, between Parrott Avenue and French Street. Investigators say shortly after 8:15 a.m. two men got into an argument in front of 345 Capitol Ave., and one shot the other in the leg.
They say the motive of the shooting is not clear at the moment.
Investigators say the suspect got away on foot and is still at large.
Police say there have been a lot of incidents at the address, and they have identified it as a hot spot and plan to clean it up.
Bridgeport Police Chief A.J. Perez says the two men involved have had ties to past murders and drug deals.
Officials are in the process of examining surveillance video to figure out what led up to this shooting and who the gunman is.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bridgeport Police Department.
