The Broadway lights are shining brightly on a 11-year-old dancer from Stratford.
"I was like, 'Oh this is fun,' and I just wanted to dance for the rest of my career," said Ethen Green-Younger.
The 11-year-old is part of the cast of the Broadway musical "The Music Man." He is in the ensemble and an understudy for the character of Winthrop.
Ethen now spends most of his time in Manhattan, but his passion blossomed in Connecticut. He was 2 years old when he started gymnastics before moving over to dance.
His passion for dance began at Connecticut Dance Conservatory, a dance studio in Stratford.
"I loved the dancing, so I just kept on dancing, kept on dancing," Ethen said.
He is a busy young performer with only one day off a week, and the rest spent on stage.
"When I go on stage and I see that big crowd just clapping after every scene it's just amazing, it's truly something special," said Ethen.
Ethen isn't the only Connecticut native sharing "The Music Man" stage. Fairfield native Aydin Eyikan is also part of the cast.
"The Music Man" is playing at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.
