Police: 4-year-old boy dies after falling from the window screen of Stamford apartment

A group of residents who live on Prospect Street alerted a patrol supervisor and informed them that a child had fallen from an apartment window just before 7:30 p.m. Police say the boy fell through the window screen of a 10th-floor apartment and died at the scene.
