A 16-year-old boy was injured during a shooting in East New York, police say.

Violence occurred just after 4:15 p.m. Friday at 909 Livonia Ave., just steps from the entrance to the New Lots Avenue subway stop.

Authorities say the teen was shot in the leg.

EMS took him to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he is expected to recover.

Police sources say an argument may have sparked the incident.
