Hundreds of underprivileged kids around the world are learning valuable lessons thanks to the brainchild of a 17-year-old student from Easton.
Bianca Jortner, who is about to be a senior at Joel Barlow High School, began tutoring children on Zoom through her website - Youth Promise.
The tutoring is free of charge and the website already has 500 volunteers.
The volunteers are helping children who are homeless, in orphanages or the foster care system. Children from as far away as Vietnam are even benefitting from these services.
Jortner says the children have noticed improved grades and self-esteem.
