The 19th annual Pleasantville Music Festival drew music lovers from across the state on Saturday.
Barbara and Joseph Simone say they're so glad they made the trip from Dutchess County.
"We've been trying to come, we finally got ourselves here, so this is great," said Barbara Simone, of Hopewell Junction.
"All the tents are covered, there's chairs underneath. It's close to every stage, you can hear everything. It's a lot of fun, I don't know why I haven't come here before," said her husband Joseph.
Local country-rock star Jessica Lynn was also there, performing as a special guest onstage with headliner, musician Robert Randolph.
The Pace University graduate from Yorktown said she's glad to be home again.
"We've been on tour in Europe, we got back from Asia two days ago, so it feels really nice to be home and be in front of a hometown crowd," Lynn said.
After a brief break at home in the Hudson Valley, Lynn says she'll soon be back on the road, doing what she loves most. She says her next stops will include performances in upstate New York and a musical tour in Spain.
