A violent roadway accident this morning led to one car upside down, and sent six to the hospital.
The accident took place at 9 a.m. at the corner of White Plains Road and Watson Avenue, where a car collided with a minivan, which caused it to flip over.
Witnesses say bystanders rushed to the aid of a woman inside the minivan, who was reportedly dangling inside until she was removed from the vehicle.
Police say six people were brought to either Jacobi Medical Center or Saint Barnabas Hospital. Conditions of those involved are currently unknown.
Authorities are still looking into the cause of the accident.
