Two locations in Connecticut have tested positive for a rare tick borne disease known as Powassan virus.
The disease, carried by deer ticks, is said to be more dangerous than Lyme disease and does not have a treatment or cure.
It has been found in North Branford and Bridgeport.
Powassan virus causes flu-like symptoms, but can also lead to comas or death.
