A prison guard is recovering after being stabbed in the neck in an attack at the Cheshire Correctional Institution. A state correction spokeswoman says two inmates assaulted two guards yesterday.

A prison guard is recovering after being stabbed in the neck in an attack at the Cheshire Correctional Institution.
A state correction spokeswoman says two inmates assaulted two guards yesterday.
Both guards were taken to the hospital.
The injuries are not considered life threatening.
The facility was placed in lockdown following the attack.
