Police say a Connecticut teen was killed and another was injured during a shooting Saturday evening in Allerton.

Eric Aitken, 15, was shot in the chest and rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he died.

Shots rang out just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday inside 1219 Adee Ave., according to the NYPD.

Officers found the second victim, a 14-year-old boy, in front of 2909 Laconia Ave. Police say he was shot in the arm and is expected to recover at NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi.

The NYPD is looking for a group of six males who witnesses saw running from the scene. They say four of them were last seen wearing all black. The fifth suspect was observed in a gray sweatsuit and black vest, while the sixth male wore a navy hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting.
