Gov. Lamont suspends tax deadlines for bills payable Jan. 1
If a municipality opts into the deferment program, the order says taxes that become due on Jan. 1, 2021 can be paid as late as April 1 – if the taxpayer can prove “significant economic impact” from the pandemic.
