Attorney: Bridgeport man accused of stabbing family has mental health issues, traumatic brain injury

A man was arrested in connection to a shooting in an Ansonia parking lot on June 22.

Police say Jonathan Martinez confronted another man with a gun and pointed it at the man's neck. A struggle ensued and two shots were fired. One hit a car and the other struck Martinez in the leg, according to police.

Authorities say Martinez now faces several charges and is being held on $300,000 bond.
