Country music star Jason Aldean ran off the stage Saturday night in Hartford after suffering from apparent heat exhaustion.

Temperatures were hot and humid at the Xfinity Theater. Video of the incident shows Aldean looking fatigued before exiting the stage and not returning.

The country singer says he's doing better. He says he was playing golf before the show and that the heat became too much for him on stage. The concert venue says the show will be rescheduled at a later date.

Dr. Julie Nolan, a clinical assistant professor at College of Health Professions at Sacred Heart University says, Aldean appears to have suffered from heat exhaustion.

"Heat exhaustion is relatively common. It's the most common heat illness. It's basically just your body’s inability to continue what you're doing while in the heat," said Nolan.
