The Avangrid CEO says that this new facility will solve a lot of issues .
"This basically replaces a very old one. With a lot of things now much better than before. We are actually anticipating no issues should there be hurricanes, as before we've had some issues. This is a Tier 1 technology opening today,” CEO Pedro Azagra said.
Executives say they hope to have the facility up and running very soon.
