The Milford girls softball team’s World Series run has come to an end.

The team made it all the way to the championship game of the Junior League Softball World Series, but lost to the Philippines 3-0 on Saturday.

But Milford’s run was an impressive one — going 5-1 in the tournament, and being the top U.S. team after defeating Florida with a no-hitter earlier this week.
