News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Joe Martucci says Connecticut will see a mix of sun and clouds with humidity and a chance for a shower on Monday.

WHAT'S NOW: Nice and pleasant weather will continue through the overnight hours.

WHAT'S NEW: Monday will be warm and more humid than in days past, especially this weekend. Expect temperatures to feel into the low-90s in some spots.

WHAT'S NEXT: A cold front will pass by Monday afternoon, helping to increase some cloud cover, with an isolated shower and storm chance. There will be a noticeable drop in humidity levels heading into Tuesday. The next chance for rain arrives by Friday.

FORECAST:

OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy, a touch sticky, with warm temperatures. Lows in the low- to mid-60s.

MONDAY: Turning warmer and feeling more humid. Feels like temperatures will be in the low-90s. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with a cold front passing by later on in the day. This will help to fire off an isolated shower and/or storm. The winds will shift late night, allowing drier air to move down for Monday night into Tuesday. Highs in the mid- to upper-80s. Lows in the mid-50s to low-60s.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny skies and less humid air. Highs in the upper-70s to low-80s. Lows in the upper-50s to low-60s.

WEDNESDAY: Lots of sunshine. Highs in the upper-70s to low-80s. Lows in the upper-50s to low-60s.

THURSDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid- to upper-70s. Lows in the mid- to upper-60s.

FRIDAY: Increasing clouds with showers later on. Highs in the mid- to upper-70s. Lows in the mid- to upper-60s.

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Highs in the mid-70s. Lows in the upper-50s to low-60s.
