For the third time in a week, a Connecticut state trooper was involved in a car crash.
Officials say a trooper was hit in on Torringford Street in Torrington Wednesday night.
Fortunately, there were no other injuries reported. The accident is currently under investigation.
The two previous occurrences happened in Meriden and Waterford. In both of those instances, the officers were taken to the hospital.
