The Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas said 14 absentee ballots were not accounted for at the Bridgeport primary election redo.

Thomas said the incident did not change the outcome of the election.

Thomas said the ballots were mistakenly mixed in with the inner and outer envelopes of the absentee ballots that were counted.

Officials are calling it a human error that did not alter election results.
