Police: Woman facing charges for crash that killed Bridgeport police officer & girlfriend

A car crashed into a utility pole on Grassy Hill Road between Trent and Flax Mill lanes in Orange on Tuesday morning.

Fire officials said the pole split in half, causing the street to be closed for several hours while they worked to repair the damages.

They said it could be a long-term repair and may impact Wednesday’s morning commute.

Police did not release any information on injuries or what caused the crash.
