Norwalk restaurateur holds annual toy drive for children
People can drop off the gifts at Planet Pizza and Dave and Charlie's Hometown Deli until Dec. 15.

A Norwalk restaurant owner is once again giving back to the community through his annual toy drive.
This is the eighth year that Dave Kuban, the owner of Planet Pizza and Dave and Charlie's Hometown Deli, is collecting toys and gift cards for local kids of all ages.
People can drop off the gifts at both establishments until Dec. 15.
Kuban says his goal is to ensure kids have something under the tree.
"We just want to make sure Christmas happens for the kids who really wouldn't get anything. We are not anything without the community. You know, without the community, we would not be here. We constantly give back to the community because they keep us here. We didn't come from a lot growing up, and we are just happy and we're blessed," he says.
Planet Pizza and Dave and Charlie's Hometown Deli are both open every day.
