Wegmans Food Markets held an open hiring event on Wednesday for its upcoming Norwalk store.
The store manager said they're looking to fill 200 positions.

The store's opening date hasn't been announced but it's anticipated to open this summer.
The store manager says their goal is to hire people who are local to the area.
"We just want to change the experience for our customers in terms of shopping and make it a great place for our employees to work and our customers to shop," said Emily Gee, store manager.
Additional hiring events will be held every Wednesday throughout the month of February at the hiring office located at the new store on Richards Avenue.
Wegmans says that new hires will be able to begin training immediately at the company's existing store in Harrison, New York.
