A new video is making its rounds on social media. It shows a man eating a rat on the side of the street in Mott Haven.

News 12 spoke with the woman behind the video.
“So me and my friend, we tried talking to him, but he doesn’t want the food," said Jessica.
Jessica, who only wanted to share her first name, says she's gotten pushback from people online asking why she didn't offer to get him food instead of filming it.
“Everybody is making me seem to be this bad guy, and I'm really not. I feed the homeless all the time, but certain people you cannot approach, and you cannot talk to," she says.
