The Center for Family Justice helps victims of domestic violence become survivors. Services include help, assistance, guidance and support for domestic violence, sexual violence and child abuse.
The 13th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 9 a.m. The walk begins at the Fairfield Train Station and ends at Town Hall. Register here.
The event hopes men and boys will take the first step (pun intended) to end violence against women and girls during Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Awareness Month.
Funds raised will support the Elizabeth M. Pfreim Camp HOPE, America, a summer camp and mentoring program for young people who have experienced the trauma of domestic and/or sexual violence.
