Kids on spring break got to experience the thrill of climbing aboard firetrucks, police cars, buses, and construction equipment at Stamford's Touch-A-Truck event on Tuesday.

The event allowed young children to learn more about city workers and first responders.

"It's a great family event," said Michael Moore, president of Stamford Downtown. "It will encourage folks to come downtown in the future."
