A man was sentenced to five years in prison after a fentanyl trafficking case in southwestern Connecticut, according to court documents.

Police arrested Jimmy Acre in May 2024 after searching his home and car. They found fentanyl, scales and a bulletproof vest.

Acre pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl.
