An elderly man died in a rollover crash on Route 15 southbound near the New Canaan rest area (Exit 14) Sunday.

Police say 87-year-old Gary Glenn Berner of Cos Cob was pronounced dead at the scene.

They say his car collided with the crash attenuator for the southbound rest area before rolling over onto its roof.
