The new archbishop of New York is now weighing-in on the feud between Pope Leo and President Trump.

Pope Leo has been voicing concern about the war in Iran while the president criticized Leo on Truth Social saying, "He's weak on crime and terrible for foreign policy."

Archbishop Ronald Hicks says he is impressed with how the pope has been handling the criticism from the White House.

Pope Leo reiterated his calls for peace in the Middle East on a trip to Africa saying the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel is a, "Cause for hope."
