The mother of a 29-year-old man who was fatally shot near the Bridgeport Superior Court more than three years ago is demanding justice.
Her calls come as jury selection begins in the murder trial.
"My son did not deserve to lose his life that way. He was a good man, and he had his whole life ahead of him," said Samantha Jones, Dominique Jones' mother.
Joseph DeJesus is accused of the killing. His trial is expected to begin on May 13.
Samantha Jones says her son was "simply in the wrong place at the wrong time."
"We deserve justice, and we're going to get it," she said.
