Newtown police seek public’s help identifying person of interest in Fairchild Road vandalism

Investigators are looking for a young man seen in the area at the time of the April 30 incident.

The Newtown Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance as officers investigate a vandalism that occurred Thursday at approximately 11:30 a.m. in the area of Fairchild Road.

Police are attempting to identify a person of interest described as a white male, approximately 17 to 25 years old, with blond hair. According to officers, he is about 6 feet tall and was wearing a bright green Philadelphia Eagles jacket with tan pants.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Newtown Police Department.
