Some New Jersey school districts had a half-day or early dismissal on Tuesday due to the extreme heat.
The school districts included:
Wayne
Hamilton
Winslow
Prospect Park
Union Public Schools also canceled all after-school activities, sports and events for the day.
Some districts are even making the adjustments for Wednesday as the heat continues.
