The weather will feel more like early April or Thanksgiving in November this weekend, rather than late May. Rain showers will head back north again after a nice break today, keeping things gray on Saturday. The weekend will be quite cool and damp to start.
Look for showers to arrive in the late morning and early afternoon. The rain showers will be light and broken, then fill in later at night. The heaviest rain will hit late and into early Sunday. The next round will roll in for Monday, Memorial Day, sometime in the early afternoon and evening. Some of the latest model guidance is still trending lighter for Monday.
Temperatures are impacted by the onshore winds which will pick up starting Saturday afternoon and remain through Sunday. They will be east and we can see gusts over 20-25 mph at times. Water temperatures are in the 50s, and the winds will keep water temperatures the same all day Saturday.
Temperatures will start to warm back up on Monday with highs in the lower to mid-70s. The clouds will linger.
Next week will be brighter and drier and much warmer again.
