Trumbull seeking poll workers for 2026 elections

The town of Trumbull is looking for poll workers to help ensure safe, smooth in-person voting and accurate ballot counting for the upcoming 2026 elections.

Poll worker duties include greeting and checking in voters, handing out ballots, monitoring voting machines and assisting voters with visual or mobility challenges.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Pay ranges from $200 to $350 for the day. Workers must attend a training session, typically held the Thursday evening before Election Day, and must be available for the full Election Day shift from 5 a.m. until polls close and all ballots are properly accounted for. The town provides lunch and dinner.

Trumbull will hold Democratic and Republican primaries on August 11, 2026, followed by the general election on November 3, 2026.
