A person suffered minor injuries during a Saturday afternoon house fire in Torrington.

Officials say it happened on Brookside Avenue just before 2 p.m.

Everyone who was inside the home was able to make it out but are all now displaced.

The fire caused significant damage to the second and third floors.

A cause of the fire was not immediately known.
