Officials: 'Urine vandalism' caused critical elevator outages at Greene Homes
Chronic elevator outages at Bridgeport’s Greene Homes Apartments were caused by vandals urinating "repeatedly and over time" into elevator control panels, according to the Bridgeport Housing Authority. While all five elevators at the complex are currently working, officials say the damage was responsible for at least one past outage.
