We are being rewarded with a stretch of nice weather after all the rain and severe weather this past week. Temperatures will stay slightly cooler than average through the weekend. With lower humidity, this means it might feel a bit cool at night and during the early morning.
High pressure will dominate our weather through the weekend and keep away the rain and storms for now.
Good news about the latest drought monitor report. The drought conditions have improved and eased slightly for Fairfield County. The month of July has delivered over 9 inches of rain to Bridgeport (Sikorsky Airport climate reporting station).

Humidity levels will start to climb coming out of the weekend and into Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop late in the day and continue through Wednesday.
