High pressure dominating the area will keep Connecticut mostly sunny through Sunday, with temperatures topping out in a very comfortable low 80s. Dew points remain low, so expect refreshingly low humidity and easy pleasant evenings.

As the new workweek kicks off on Monday, Connecticut will see a gradual increase in clouds and a slight uptick in humidity, but most of the day should stay dry. By Tuesday, however, a slow-moving cold front brings a much higher chance of showers and thunderstorms, some of which could be heavy. The News 12 Storm Watch Team will keep fine tuning the timing as the system gets closer.
