It's a humid Friday in Connecticut with temperatures once again returning to the low 80s and a heat index in the mid 80s. Rain is not expected for your commute today, but a pop up shower is possible later this evening or overnight along a cold front. The front will bring clear skies and much lower humidity for the start of the Labor Day Weekend
Saturday looks wonderful to start with temperatures in the upper 50s in our northern suburbs and near 60-degrees along Merritt Parkway and southward. There will be plenty of sunshine for the first half of the day. A few clouds arrive in the afternoon with a high near 80-degrees, but much less humidity. The wind will be generally north at 5 to 10 mph and there are no weather-related hazards for boater or beach goers this weekend.
A few showers are expected Saturday night into Sunday morning so grab the umbrella for early Sunday plans. Sunday is the coolest day out of the weekend with highs in the low 70s and sunnier skies later in the day.
Labor Day is our pick out of the week! Expect a very refreshing start to the day, in the 50s, and sunny skies with highs in the mid to upper 70s. It'll be close to perfect!
Rain will return next Wednesday night into the end of the week.
