FORECAST:
Clouds are clearing along with lowering humidity. A fantastic Friday as this will be the last day in the 80s for some time. Enjoy this final push of summer. It will be a beautiful end to the workweek with September sun in control. Cooler weather arrives Saturday.
Saturday features a nice breeze from the northwest, and lowering humidity all day long. Daytime high temperatures will be cooler as we top out in the 70s. Most of the day will be dry and sunny.
Saturday night has an autumn feel as temperatures drop quickly after sunset.
Sunday will be the better day of the upcoming weekend. Most of the day will be dry and sunny. Some clouds will roll in later in the afternoon. Daytime highs will be pleasant and below average but feel wonderful.
The northwest corner of New Jersey could see nighttime lows fall well into the low 40s. The rest of the state will be sitting quite comfortably in the lower 50s.
Rain targets New Jersey again for Sunday - likely into the mid-afternoon and evening. Right now, the rain looks to be on-again and off-again throughout much of the day. It is possible some of the rain could be intense enough that flash flooding could be a potential impact. This needs to be watched carefully.
