Six firefighters were injured after a four-alarm fire broke out at Juliette restaurant in Williamsburg Sunday evening, according to the FDNY.
The fire started inside the French restaurant, Juliette, on North 5th Street, sending heavy smoke into the surrounding area.
Part of the building collapsed while firefighters were inside, according to fire officials.
Firefighters and paramedics were able to safely exit the building.
Fire crews remain at the scene Sunday morning assessing the aftermath.
The damage also impacted other businesses along the block of North 5th Street.
The Department of Buildings tells News 12 they have issued a full vacate order for three commercial businesses after the fire due to extensive fire, water and smoke damage including severe charring of structural elements inside of the building.
The three businesses along North 5th Street that are now closed include Juliette, Big Wong and The Blue Blossom.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
