U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal says he has "every intention" of seeking a fourth term representing Connecticut.
Blumenthal says he expects to make a formal announcement later this month or in December.
"I'll have a formal announcement later this month or in December, but I look forward to continuing to serve the people of Connecticut, being on the ballot in 2028," Blumenthal said.
Blumenthal was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2010 after serving two decades as Connecticut attorney general.
