27th annual Hope in Motion Walk commemorates National Cancer Survivors Day with fundraiser
Over 500 participants came out to the Stamford Museum and Nature Center Sunday to raise money for cancer patients who use Stamford Health critical services.
Money from the walk went to the Stamford Health’s Bennett Cancer Center.
The center provides supportive services for cancer patients like meals, exercise programs and more – all free of charge.
Organizers said over the past 26 years, they have raised over $17 million. Their goal for Sunday was to raise over $1 million for the center.
