The UConn men's basketball team will not be the only squad competing for glory this weekend.

ESports teams from 10 Connecticut colleges will battle at the 3rd annual CT ESports Showcase hosted by Sacred Heart University.

Organizers say the event helps spread the word about the ESports Academic program at Sacred Heart.

Co-director Andrew Miller says the showcase is entirely run by students.

"It's a great example of experiential learning. We're excited to do this event each year and hopefully each year it evolves, we add on new parts and it kind of takes a life of its own, but in a really positive way," Miller says.

Fans are welcome to attend on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Martire Atrium.
