Toys R Us is planning to close 180 stores across the country, included four in Connecticut.
The toy company operates about 900 stores in the United States, and has been operating under bankruptcy protection since last fall.
The stores expected to close in Connecticut are in North Haven, Waterbury, Newington and Manchester. The store closings will begin in February, according to the Associated Press.
The plan also includes combining some of its other Toys R US and Babies R Us locations.
