$4M federal grant will help clean wastewater in Stratford

Cleaner water is coming to Fairfield County.
State and local leaders gathered in Stratford Monday morning to announce a $4.1 million federal grant to cleanup wastewater.
The money will go to increasing the amount of water the Stratford Water Pollution Control Facility can treat.
The goal is to prevent the open flow of untreated sewage during flooding.
Rep. Rosa DeLauro helped get the funds.
