Bridgeport Youth Lacrosse held its fourth annual Sports and Education Summit on Friday.

Students from local high schools were invited to listen to coaches, educators and community leaders speak and offer tips and tools on the road to higher education.

The event was aimed to inspire the next generation and to discuss the role sports play in academics and future careers.
