Thousands of music lovers turned out on Saturday for the fifth annual Bridgeport Jazz Fest.
Organizers said they were thrilled by the outpouring of support for the event, which has steadily grown over the years.
"This is our fifth year and I'm emphasizing that because we never even knew we could take it this far. We went from humble beginnings to all of this," said Dave Daniels.
The free event also featured live music from local artists and fresh food from vendors.
