A 6-year-old boy was hit by an ambulance in Borough Park on Saturday, sources told News 12.

Detectives say the vehicle was traveling on 52nd Street when it hit the boy just after 10:30 a.m.

He was taken to Maimonides Hospital where he is expected to be OK.

The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene.

Police say the cause of the crash is under investigation and no arrests have been made as of Sunday night.
