Bridgeport firefighters say nine residents, including two children, were forced out into the street by a fire.
It started early this morning inside a two family home on East Avenue.
The residents are all OK and are now being helped by the Red Cross.
The front porch and a room have been damaged.
There is no word yet on the cause.
